- Group D is a single-slot playoff pool between the MDL Philippines champion, the MDL Indonesia champion, and the MAL Malaysia champion, with only the winner advancing into the Knockout bracket alongside the three group leaders.
- Top two Knockout finishers earn direct M8 Main Stage berths; third and fourth fall into the Bangkok Wild Card, where three of ten still push through to Istanbul.
