MLBB Argus Raiden Maru Malaysia: Titans Collector vs Balmond Vulcan Ironheart
Published: 2026-09-07
Argus "Raiden Maru" landed 1 September in Malaysia
The second Titans Collector skin dropped at server refresh on 1 September 2026, around 05:00 MYT, and the September Exquisite Collection draw stays open until the banner rotates on 30 September. With Grock, Helcurt, and Balmond already banked earlier this year, Argus is now Moonton's fourth Collector-tier hero in the Titans arc, and easily the most competitively relevant top-lane pick of the four to receive a mecha treatment. His mecha-samurai kit borrows openly from Pacific Rim: a single glowing eye, folding steel wings, and a chain blade that reassembles itself between slashes. All times in this article are Malaysia Time (GMT+8).
Malaysian rankers in Shah Alam and Johor Bahru have been pulling for him inside the same Season 42 window that opened on 16 September. "A perfect fusion of a hardcore mecha design and samurai culture," Moonton wrote when it teased the skin on 27 August (Mobile Legends: Bang Bang on X). The skin drops between 1,950 and 2,250 Diamonds through the draw. That is roughly one RM 165 top-up at REDX Game if the pity roof kicks in, or up to RM 200 through the iOS App Store for the same 2,250 pool. Six days into the event, Selangor Red Giants content creators are already showing off the samurai phantom on stream.

The draw math: 1,950 vs 2,250 Diamonds
Exquisite Collection draws start cheap and escalate. Your first pull costs 40 Diamonds. The second is 60. Pull three jumps to 80, and the ramp continues in staggered steps until you either land the Collector reward or hit the pity ceiling at roughly the 30th draw. Moonton's event page notes each pull grants a fixed Collection Point count regardless of skin quality, so even losing draws feed toward the next Titan on the schedule, and the ceiling protects the wallet at a hard 2,250 Diamond cap.
Reality is usually in the middle. Community draw trackers show most players land Raiden Maru between the 20th and 27th draw, which puts the real cost in the 1,950–2,150 Diamond band. Boleh tahan for a Collector at those numbers if you already stockpiled Collection Points from Grock and Helcurt earlier in the year.
Here is where Malaysian ringgit walks further on the MLBB direct top-up page. A common comparison: RM 20 buys 275 Diamonds directly through REDX Game, while the same RM 20 at the App Store returns fewer than 250 Diamonds because iOS bakes in a payment-processor markup. Stack that gap across 2,250 Diamonds and the App Store route runs roughly RM 35 heavier for the exact same Argus outcome. That is a full night at the mamak, gone. Petaling Jaya players tracking their monthly gacha spend feel it fastest.
Where does REDX Game fit in the Titans arc?
Direct top-up sends Diamonds straight to your Argus ID within 1–3 minutes, as advertised on the mobile-legends-malaysia catalog. No account handover, no reseller middleman, no waiting for a code to arrive by email. That timing matters when a limited-time draw shuts at month-end and you are 250 Diamonds short on a Saturday night.
Raiden Maru vs Balmond "Vulcan Ironheart": which Titan gets your slot?
Balmond's "Vulcan Ironheart" landed on 1 August 2026 as the third entry in the Titans line. It is a heavy melee build with molten-armor VFX and a swing animation that reshapes his ultimate crater. Ironheart leans into pure kaiju weight and slow tempo.
Raiden Maru swings the opposite way. Its agile silhouette leans forward through samurai-ceremony pauses between combos, then explodes into a summoned spectral warrior when the ult triggers, so the entire skin reads as fast rather than slow-punishing. Fighter mains split cleanly on style, but the meta case is easier to make for the mecha samurai than for the volcano golem.
Argus is a top-lane pick with more competitive relevance in the S42 meta than Balmond, whose pick-rate has drifted below 3% at the MPL MY level according to Liquipedia's MPL Malaysia Season 18 pool data. If you main Argus, Raiden Maru buys ranked visibility along with cosmetics, since his ceremony animations get seen every match instead of getting reserved for a niche pocket pick. Balmond mains reading this: Ironheart is still sitting on the secondary Luckybox tier this month at a partial discount, so kaiju energy is not going anywhere.
Both grant 2,000 Collection Points when awarded. Pull one now, and October's Sun "Celestial Rebel" Titan lands on 1 October with a partial Collection Point discount already banked. KL cosplay circles are teasing a Raiden Maru versus Celestial Rebel photoset for KLCC once both skins are live.
Argus Raiden Maru FAQ: timing, cost, and safety
When exactly did Argus Raiden Maru go live in Malaysia?
Server refresh on 1 September 2026 at roughly 05:00 MYT, so Malaysian squads had first-move access on Raiden Maru the moment the Season 42 pre-patch maintenance window closed for the KL-region servers. The Exquisite Collection banner stays live until the 30 September rotation, when the next Titan takes over the featured slot.
Is Raiden Maru a Legend or Collector skin?
Collector-tier. It grants 2,000 Collection Points when awarded, same as Grock's "Tremor of the Deep" from 1 April and Helcurt's "Kaiju of the Deep" from 1 July, so it does not stack Legend fragments on drop.
Berapa maksimum saya kena spend untuk draw ini?
2,250 Diamonds is the ceiling. Pity kicks in at roughly the 30th pull. Most Malaysian players report landing the skin between 1,950 and 2,150 Diamonds, which is well below the pity roof.
Can I use DuitNow or Boost to buy the Diamonds?
Yes. REDX Game accepts DuitNow QR, TnG eWallet, Boost, and card at checkout. Direct top-up delivers to the Argus ID in 1–3 minutes, and MYR pricing is the same across each payment rail.
Will Argus Raiden Maru come back later?
Moonton has not confirmed a rerun. Titans Collectors historically resurface in seasonal Exquisite Collection rotations after four to six months, but rerun scheduling is not guaranteed. Grab it in September if you want it locked, especially with Season 42 giving Argus visible ranked pressure right now.
Watch out for fake Raiden Maru giveaway pages
Every high-profile MLBB skin drop pulls scam accounts out of the woodwork. Within 48 hours of the 1 September launch, at least three Facebook pages started running "free Raiden Maru grant" giveaways demanding your Moonton account ID and password. Do not hand those out. Ever. Moonton's official channels never DM you asking for credentials, and no reputable Malaysian top-up provider needs your account password, REDX Game included.
Two red flags to filter this week. First, a Telegram bot claiming to "verify" your Diamond balance before granting the skin by asking you to type in your Moonton one-time password. Second, phishing sites that copy the Exquisite Collection banner but sit on a lookalike domain, usually swapping the legitimate .com.my for a suspicious .com.co or .top variant that a hurried mobile browser will miss at a glance. Report both to the MCMC scam-portal if a friend gets hit. Kalau pelik, jangan klik.
Local tips for Malaysian pullers this month
September 2026 is a lucky overlap for Malaysian fans. MLBB Season 42 kicked off on 16 September, the Argus Titans banner runs concurrent, and MPL MY Season 18 regular season is deep into playoff qualification with Selangor Red Giants and Team SMG in the top four. Three moves worth making before month-end:
- Stockpile top-ups mid-week. Promo deltas at REDX Game tend to land Wednesday and Thursday on the mobile-legends-malaysia catalog, and the biggest first-time bonuses land on fresh accounts.
- Watch Selangor Red Giants VOD reviews before you pull. Their Argus draft usage climbed after Raiden Maru's splash trailer, and their macro decisions travel across ranks.
- Use DuitNow QR for zero-fee funding. Boost adds cashback tiers depending on your subscription level, and TnG works cleanly inside the eWallet monthly cap.
Ipoh and Penang players on limited-speed 4G, the Exquisite Collection banner UI is heavier than the base client. Draw during off-peak windows — before 10:00 MYT or after midnight — if you want the animations to play cleanly. Memang best when the samurai phantom activation plays smooth on your feed.
For a straight product path, Diamonds through REDX Game stays the most predictable value for Malaysian rankers this month: MYR pricing, DuitNow supported, 1–3 minute advertised delivery, and no reseller layer between your ringgit and Argus.
